An overview of who we are, how we started, and what guides our work.
Centre For Special Abilities (CeSA) is a Community Based Organization founded in January 2015 in Nansana, Uganda. We work with children with disabilities, supporting them toward independent living through therapy, special needs education, and vocational training.
Children with disabilities in Uganda are among the most overlooked groups — many lack access to basic health services and education, and remain invisible in national policy. CeSA exists to change that, one child at a time.
Established in January 2015 as a Community Based Organization, with the aim of rehabilitating children aged 2 and above for independent living.
Registered in September 2018 under CBO No. WCBO/18/1102 in Wakiso District, Uganda.
Our work directly supports:
Goal 3 — Good Health & Well-Being
Goal 4 — Quality Education
Goal 5 — Gender Equality
CeSA provides a wide range of services designed to support the whole child — from assessment and therapy to education and vocational skills.

Supporting communication development for children with speech difficulties.
